Our daughter, Tracy Marie Cohen, was born on Wednesday morning in the American hospital in Heidelberg, West Germany, on 24 October 1963, to join her brother Troy, born there two years before. She also joined her mother Mary and her father Roger, a member of the armed services.
Tracy grew into a beautiful young lady, a cheerleader on her brother's football team, then eventually becoming an experienced equestrian when she met the love of her life James K. Bean in El Paso, TX. They were married soon after, and took over the Johnny Bean Horse Farm in the Upper Valley.
The Beans welcomed a boy, Jake, on 8 November 1991. Jim and Tracy still have their horse farm on Upper Valley Road in El Paso.
The Lord took Tracy home with Him to be with her brother, on 6 June. We ask that all that knew Tracy will join us in our grief and pray for the wonderful friend and confidant that Tracy was.
A visitation for Tracy will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Funeral Home-West. A prayer service will take place between the visitation at 9:30 AM. The interment will occur Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made, in Tracy's name, to your local animal shelter.
