Timothy Jay Markel, known to everyone as Tim, passed away on November 4, 2023, in El Paso, TX, at the age of 64. Tim had a deep love for his Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. In his early years, Tim found fulfillment in singing. He was part of the choir at Eastwood High School and at both Immanuel Church and First Baptist Church. His favorite singing experience was being a part of the Living Christmas Tree at First Baptist Church. Tim also had a passion for sports and played basketball and so^ball for both Immanuel and First Baptist Church teams. However, some of his most cherished moments were spent fishing with his dad and their other fishing buddies. Those fishing trips were filled with adventure and treasured memories.
Tim's loved ones will always remember his unwavering spirit, his love for his family, his faith, and his passion for singing and fishing. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
