My deepest condolences to Dolores, family, and friends who are grieving Teresa's physical passing. I had the rich blessing of  knowing Teresa since grade school and witnessing her exemplary response to her call to be a saint.  All of us around Teresa could not have had a better role model for loving without any condition, giving without limits, accepting without judging, and infinitely believing and trusting.  To my loss, I gradually lost contact with Teresa after high school yet all later references of her throughout the years pointed to her constancy in being a fine, decent human being.  (I longed to reconnect, always.) What a privilege it is for me to say that I shared classrooms (many of them), a neighborhood, a church, and  much good faith with a saint, Teresa.  My dear Teresa, you have earned your reward.

My deepest sympathy to Terry’s sister, Dolores, as well as her entire family, during their time of loss. Terry was a wonderful person and teacher. I will always remember her for the kind and loving person she was with everyone who knew her, especially her students. I am privileged to have worked Terry for ten years. Rest in Peace Terry.

I am heartbroken at the loss of my dear sister-friend, Terry. I will miss her dearly above all I will miss her laughter and sweet-gentle way of talking to me. But, as painful as her loss has been to me, I am at the same time, joyful that she is no longer struggling with the physical challenges that made her so unhappy. REST in peace my sweet sister and be there for me when you welcome me home.

The measurement of success in one's life varies from person to person, but the one true measure is how happy we make God with how well we have lived our life; indeed we believe our cousin Teresita has made God very happy,
Our cousin dedicated her life and her gifts to impart knowledge and inspiring and encouraging young minds beyond their own expectations. She cherished family and friends with simple acts of kindness and beautiful words that touched the hearts and minds and spirits of those she loved. 
Thank you for blessing everyone who was privileged to know you with God's love.

Ms. Hernandez was wonderful teacher, beautiful person with a very kind heart. I also knew her from church at Guardian Angel and I had the pleasure of introducing my 3 children to her. I am grateful to have met her. May she rest in peace with her sister, Dolores. May God bring peace to the family in this difficult time.

I will never forget her kindness and her love for all her students. Her and her sister Dolores made my high school years bearable, I used to stay after school many times just to talk to them. They will always be remembered as the kindhearted Hernandez sisters. May she Rest In Peace 🙏🏻💕

Ms Hernandez not only inspired me in my highschool years, but after those years, as well.  She inspired me to become a catechist at St. Pius after she asked me to give a speech to her confirmation class.  She was not only a great teacher, but she was a wonderful human being who took great interest in inspiring her students to do great things in life.  Rest In Peace Ms . Hernandez!!  You will ALWAYS be an inspiration!!  Until we meet again!!♥️✝️🙏🏻
