Mom touched the lives of countless students in her 39 years of teaching in the Ysleta and Gadsden School Districts. She loved teaching children and had a knack for making learning fun. She enjoyed bowling, reading, cooking, playing guitar and hanging out at the cabin in Colorado.
She truly had a servant’s heart and spent many years donating her time to and serving in a leadership position in many organizations such as YTA, YRSEA, El Paso Athletic Association, El Paso Women’s Bowling Association (Board member and Hall of Fame), 500 Club, Crime Stoppers, Neighborhood Watch, multiple book clubs and DAV Aux.
