Sonia Flynn Martinez, 76, of El Paso, TX passed away, December 1, 2020 due to complications from COVID-19. She was born in 1944 in El Salvador and was a life-long resident of El Paso, TX. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Manuel V. Martinez and their four children: Kathy Aranda, (Fernando), Richard Martinez (Jennifer), Mark Martinez and Steve Martinez (Johanna). She is also survived by seven granddaughters, three grandsons, one great-grandson, her sister, Josie Duran, brothers, Bruce Flynn and Jaime Jaime, Sr. Sonia was predeceased by her mother, Lucia Flynn, step-father, Jack Flynn, and brother Alfredo Aceituno, Sr.
Sonia was a devowed Catholic, loving and caring person who enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren grow up and celebrating each of their accomplishments. She dedicated her entire life to her children, family and the church. She will be dearly missed but not forgotten. We love you Mom!
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, services will be private. She will be laid to rest at Ft. Bliss Cemetery.
