Socorro E. Valdez, 81 passed away on June 24, 2014 in El Paso, Texas. She is survived by her daughters: Sylvia Bocanegra & Julieta Jimenez; sons: Carlos Valdez & Fernando Valdez.; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; sister: Ramona Morales.Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 9:00 am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
