Silverio Rodriguez Jr.

Silverio Rodriguez Jr. cherished father, grandfather and husband passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones on September 16, 2023. He is survived by his wife Maria Elena, children Daniel (Melissa), Luis (Rose), Melissa (Dionicio) and Rebecca, grandchildren Edward, Elijah, Ian, Sebastian, Ariel, and Alana, siblings Ramona, Catalina, Teresa, Martin and Arturo as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Silverio, mother Ramona, sister Rosalia, brothers Jesus and Ricardo.

Silverio was a lifelong resident of El Paso. He grew up in Smeltertown and was a basketball standout at El Paso Tech. He was a proud Army veteran. He was a retired offset pressman working civil service for Ft. Bliss and retired again in his second career at EPISD Transportation Dept.

Visitation will be Wednesday September 20, 2023 at 4:00pm with Rosary service at 6:30pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home – West, 5054 Doniphan Dr. Funeral service will be Thursday September 21, 2023 at 9:00am at Santuario San Judas Tadeo, 4006 Hidden Way followed by Burial Ceremony at Memorial Pines Cemetery 3061 Memorial Pines Ln, Sunland Park, Dona Ana, NM 88063
