Shirley (Sally) Ann Lewis Keikkala passed away peacefully Thursday May 26th 2022 after a long illness. She was born February 6, 1942 in Carrizozo, NM to Esther Dow Lewis and Brooks Lewis. She had an older brother Scott Alan Lewis and a younger brother Ralph Monroe Lewis, all have preceded her in death. She graduated from Carrizozo High School in 1960.
Sally moved to El Paso in May 1961 and met her husband, a young soldier named Samuel LeRoy Keikkala; they just celebrated their 60th wedding Anniversary November 22, 2021.
Sally leaves behind her husband Sam Keikkala, daughter’s Lynda (Mark) Woody of Roswell, NM and Sandra (Dean) Terry of Chandler, AZ, four grand children, Heath (Jessica) Woody, Justin Woody, Lindsey (Taylor) Harris and Bryce Terry and six great grand children , Colton, Camden and Caitlyn Woody; Ezra, Micah and Lillian Harris,
Sister in law Margret (Jim) Bartlett, brother-in-law Jeff (Jennifer) Keikkala and several cousins.
Sally, was a wife, a mom, a grandma (Gigi), aunt, sister, cousin and friend, her passing leaves a whole in our family and in all our hearts . She loved her dogs, so in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to either the El Paso Humane Society or the Ovarian Cancer Society.
