Seymour Herbert Becker

Seymour “Sy” Herbert Becker, 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 while surrounded by his adoring and devoted family. He was preceded in death by his loving daughter, Andrea Becker Silvey. Sy Becker left behind a legacy that began in Trenton, New Jersey on April 11, 1924. He joined the United States Air Force and served his country during World War II. As a 1949 graduate of the University of Miami, he fulfilled a long career which culminated in his partial ownership of S&S Trading Company. In retirement, he was a voracious reader and joke teller. Sy is survived by the love of his life, his doting wife of 65 years, Joan Becker. He is affectionately remembered by his daughter, Roberta Kligman (Monica Anderson), son, Louis Becker (Ron Chencinski), and granddaughters Davi Kligman, Sarah Kligman, and Dayna Silvey.
