Santos P. Garcia

She was born on earth on November 1, 1937 and born again in heaven on November 1, 2020.

Santos was a loving wife and mother and always giving and helping others. She loved to cook for her family and friends and taught her children and grandchildren her famous Mexican dishes. If you knew Santos, you knew she was famous for giving people nicknames (sobre nombres) and for her sayings (los dichos).

She is survived by her children, Sally, Irma, Irene, Marcos, Velia, Patricia, Miguel and Andres and her 21 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

God saw you getting tired

A cure was not to be

So he put his arms around you

And whispered, “come with me”

With tearful eyes we watched you

And saw you fade away

Although we loved you dearly

We could not make you stay

A golden heart stopped beating

God took you home to rest

A Facebook live stream of the rosary service will held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 7-9pm. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
