Santos Villegas Estrada

SANTOS ESTRADA VILLEGAS was born on November 1, 1931 in Cd. Juarez, Chih., Mexico. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and a good friend to many. On Saturday, May 30, 2015 our Lord called his name and took him to a better place where he would have no more pain or suffering and where his loved ones gone before were waiting for him with open arms. Proceeded in death by his beloved wife Margarita Villegas who passed away at a young age leaving him to raise their 6 children: Irma(Luis), Santos(Lily), Blanca, Sergio(Debbie), Fabiola(Marcelino) and Arturo(Veronica). Grandchildren: Idania, Luis, Victoria, Mario, Susan, Stephanie, Kristen, Victor(+), Jasmin, Jensyn, Emmanuel and Dominique. Great grandchildren: Alexis, Leiland, David, Brayden and Mila. He was also survived by his wife Minerva Villegas, his sister Josephina Ornelas and many family members who loved him very much. Santos was a life long resident of El Paso, Texas. In 1978 he started his business Amistad Plumbing Company and along with his son’s they worked hard to make their business a success. He taught his children the meaning of hard work, dedication, honesty and his faith in God. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 5–9pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home with a Vigil at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 9:30am at San Antonio Catholic Church, 503 Hunter Dr. A Special Thank You to all the medical staff at Del Sol Hospital who were so kind and gentle in caring for our Dad.
