Ruth R. Ontiveros

Ruth Ontiveros born October 24, 1942 in San Elizario, TX ascended unto glory on May 25, 2023. She is preceded in death by both her parents Lorenzo and Lydia Sanchez, brothers Lorenzo "Sonny" Sanchez, Tony "Batman" Sanchez, sister Becky Ortiz, brother in law Bobby Franco and son in law Elston Montgomery. She is survived by her sisters Ida Franco and Lucy (Refugio Jr.) Vasquez as well as her children Margie (Dale) Bishop, Elsa Montgomery, Monica (Oscar) Diaz, Alfonso (Linda) Ontiveros, Faustino"Fuzz" (Collette) Ontiveros, Javier (Monica) Ontiveros, David (Edina) Ontiveros, Ana (Terry) Sauceman and Lily (Sergio) Morales. She had 26 favorite grandchildren and a growing amount of great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews as well as countless people that considered her a second mom or grandma. She will be missed tremendously.

For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit and delight to see how disciplined you are and how firm your faith in Christ is.
