Ruth is survived by her daughter Tammy Lee Jones; her father Florencio Enrique Medina and her mother Francisca Tejeda De Medina; her sister Rosalinda Medina Gonzalez; her sons Hector Miguel Gonzalez III and Isaac Eli Gonzalez, her brothers Enrique Medina, Hector Medina, Gilberto Medina, Carlos Medina and her grandchildren Mavis Isabell Gonzalez, Amelia Jasmine Gonzalez, Xiomara Leah Gonzalez.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Hector Miguel Gonzalez Jr..

A visitation for Ruth will be held Monday, June 3, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter Drive, El Paso, TX 79936. A rosary will occur Monday, June 3, 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 8600 Winchester Rd, El Paso, TX 79907. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906.
