Ruth E. Brown

The oldest of three children, Mrs. Brown was born Ruth Elizabeth Eichner, on November 19, 1940, in Landau, Germany to Georg and Lissi Eichner. In 1965 she met the love of her life, Roy Gene Brown, an American soldier stationed in Germany. In 1967, she and her young daughter came to the United States at the request of Mr. Brown so that they could get married.

Mrs. Brown worked at Petro Stopping Centers for 20 years before retiring in 2008. She spent her retirement years with her family and her beloved dogs, but got the most joy in getting to spend time with her great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her parents, Georg and Lissi Eichner, her husband of 50 years, Roy Brown, her sister, Gisela Brauchle, and her beloved grandson, Patrick L. Brown.

She is survived by her daughter, Bettina Sweet, her granddaughter, Tabitha (Andrew) Orozco, her great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Isis Orozco, her sister-in-law, Sherry (Calvin) Mitchell and brother-in-law, Allen (Patty) Brown. She also leaves behind many other family and friends that will miss her dearly.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn, located at 8817 Dyer in El Paso, Texas.
