He was born September 14, 1963 to Hector and Dolores Trevino. He is survived by his children Jessica Salazar and Ruben Lee Trevino, son in law Victor Salazar, daughter in law Dana Trevino, eight grandchildren Joshua, Jacob, Ariana, Jeremy, Athena, Felix, RJ, and Dominic, and his brothers Hector Manuel Trevino and Ricardo Luis Trevino and sister Gloria Luz Barrios.
Ruben was born and raised in El Paso TX, graduated from Burges High School and continued his education at The University of Texas at El Paso. He worked for Housing Authority of El Paso for 19 years where he retired from in 2016.
Ruben is remembered for his loving, caring, and dependable personality but above all he is remembered for his punctuality. There was no Christmas concert, football game, or special event that he missed. He was always the first one to arrive. He also enjoyed playing golf, especially with his family; and no one can forget his obsession and love for the game of baseball. GO DODGERS!
Funeral services will be held Sunday December 5, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel Restlawn located at 8817 Dyer Street with visitation starting at 5:00 pm followed by the rosary starting promptly at 6:00pm. Mass will be held on Monday December 6, 2021 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church located at 9025 Diana Drive starting promptly at 10:00am followed by the burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery located at 401 Zaragosa Rd.
