Rose U. Moreno, lovingly known as “Mama Rosie”, passed away peacefully at her home on January 20, 2017. Rose was born in Bracketville, Texas. She retired after 30 years of Federal Service. She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Moreno; daughters, Cecilia Rosales (Mike), Elizabeth Sotomayor (Dan), and Carolyn Garcia (Elias); brother, Robert Urenda (Irma); 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5:00- 9:00pm On Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Crestview Funeral Home with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00pm Thursday, January 26, 2017 at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church. A Committal Service will be held at 2:30pm Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Crestview Funeral Home.
