Rosa Torres, age 94, passed away on June 9, 2022. She was the widow of Ramon P. Torres. They shared 63 years of marriage together. Born in Los Angeles, California. She was the daughter of Jose Torres and Isabel Ramirez.
She was an active member of Corpus Christi Church by singing in the choir, ushered and helped in the kitchen. She was a beautician and hairstylist for a few years.
She is survived by her children: Rodolfo, Jose Luis, Roman Francisco Javier, Esteban, Marcelino and Gloria. Grandchildren: Rebecca Michelle, Raymond III, Rodolfo Jr., Cameron Robin, Leigh Wray, Pierce Lowe, Jose Miguel, Aissa Esperanza, John Rito, Juan Manuel, Kristen Nicole, Roman Jr., Tristan, Victoria Rose, Angelina Faith, Frankie J, and Gianna Lynn. Great-grandchildren: Ethan Andrew, Liam Tobias, Everett Rodolfo Albert, Eleanore Kay Robin, April Reign, Leylah Kiyomie, Cassius James, Emma Rose, Lilian Faith and David Durant. She was predeceased by her sons Ramon Jr.and John Torres.
A Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM with a Vigil at 7:00pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home East, 1060 N. Carolina. A Funeral Mass will take place Friday, June 17, 2022 at 1:00PM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with the Graveside Service to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
