In 1950, she met her future husband, Jose Angel Ramos, after four years of dating and courtship, were married and on 5 June 2010 celebrated 56 years of blissful marriage before the passing of her beloved husband on 31 Aug 2010. Rosa was true to her Puerto Rican heritage by being a member of the Organizacion Civica-Cultural de Puertorriquenos de El Paso for over fifteen years. She served several times as the treasurer of the organization. She had a green thumb which was evident by the beautiful roses and other flowers she grew in her garden. Mom was a living example of the words Love, Beautiful, Happiness, and Friend. With her contagious smile, she made others happy. She was a kind and loving devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a stay-at-home mom who instilled strong values in her loving children with unconditional love and set a beautiful example for them to follow.
She was preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Maria Aldecoa, her Husband and grandchildren Jose A. Ramos III and Keith J. Browning. Also, preceded in death by three siblings: Francisco Jr., Manuel, and Ana.
