Rosa Maria Pedroza

Our beloved matriarch, our mother, Rosa A. Pedroza, also known as Mama Rosa, passed away on May 14, 2024, in El Paso, Texas, at the age of 97. She was born on August 30, 1926, in El Paso. She was survived by her three daughters Rosie P. Rodriguez (Armando Rodriguez), Margie P. Colmenero, (Beto Colmenero), and Frances P. Hernandez, (Pete Hernandez).

Rosa's grandchildren are Vanessa Romo-Gardea, Olivia R. Figueroa (Jacob Figeroa), Robert Colmenero (Christy Colmenero), Aaron Colmenero (Judith Colmenero), Peter Hernandez (Dana Withaeger), Frankie Daniel Hernandez (Savannah Vigil).

Her great-grandchildren are Valerie Jade Romo, Dominic W. Gardea, Celeste Colmenero Garcia (Luis Albert Garcia), Caleb Colmenero, Ari Colmenero, Shalom Colmenero, Nikki Temple, Sarah Danielle Hernandez, Isabel Monique Hernandez, Andrew and Jacob Figueroa.

Her great-great-grandchildren are Regan Squeo, Katriel Zyanna Hernandez, Violet Rose Saenz, and soon to be born, Giovanni Garcia.

Rosa A. Pedroza came from a family of 7 brothers and sisters and survived by her only living siblings Margarita Marquez, Katy Herrera, and Lupe Davila, and her only remaining brother-in-law, Roger Davila. She had many nieces, nephews, and second and third generation relatives. Many of which she took care of. Way too many to mention by name as our grand matriarch loved them all.

At the age of 49, she and our dad found the truth and both at the same time, became born again Christians. She took care of so many others and was a very caring person with the desires to one day hear from her siblings, and loved ones, they too accepted Christ as their Savior.

We rejoice that she joins her loving spouse, our dad, DANIEL C. PEDROZA in heaven.
