Rosa Catalina Anaya

Rosa Catalina Anaya age 72, passed away Sunday, April 23rd, 2023 at El Rayito de Luz in El Paso Texas. She was born August 30th, 1950, in El Paso Texas to Horacio and Amparo Aguirre. She married Gregorio Anaya Jr. on December 29th, 1980. Rosa was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas and graduated from Jefferson High School. She was a great mother, wife, sister, friend, boss, and cook. Her favorite pass time was playing the slot machines and was a big fan of football. Rosa was an entrepreneur, a go getter, and retired after many years of hard work and dedication as a Fabric Production Manager for AKS Industries formerly known as Alaska Structures in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Her father Horacio and husband Gregorio preceded her in death. Surviving is her Mother Amparo Aguirre; her only child Tony; granddaughter, Alexx-Sofia and grandson, Andrew; sisters, Yolanda, Margarita, Gloria, Ella, Laura, Elsie and brother Carlos.

A graveside service will be held for Rosa on Monday, May 22, 2023 at 10:00AM in Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
