Roger Murrell Brown, Born 8/11/1938 in Gatesville, TX to Bill & Leila Brown passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones on 10/10/2018. Roger was raised in Valentine, TX and moved to El Paso in the early 1970’s. Roger was a long-haul truck driver for over 50 years and the owner of R & B trucking for 30 years. Roger was a modest and humble man willing to help anyone who asked and did so without reservation. Roger had a firm handshake, a infectious smile, and the most beautiful blue eyes. Remembered as an honest, hardworking man; loving husband, father and grandfather and true friend. Roger is survived by his wife Mary, his brother Jerry, his children Minerva Freeman (Mark), Christy Galvez (Carlos), Alton Brown (Danielle), Roger M. Brown, JR, and Leila Brown. Grandchildren Jason Brown (Felicia), Jacyln Freeman, Charlie Galvez (Veronica), Cody Freeman (Jennifer), Jeanette Galvez, and Riley Brown. Great grandchildren Kaitlyn Freeman, Mikey and Catalina Galvez.
Services will be held Friday, October 19, 2018 from 10 am- Noon. Eulogy at 11 am at Hillcrest Funeral Home West, 5054 Doniphan Dr., El Paso, Tx.
