Roberto Cruz Moreno, age 97, of El Paso, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Roberto was born January 31, 1925 to Maria Tomasa Cruz Moreno and Guadalupe Moreno.

Roberto is survived by his daughter Cecilia Rosales (Miguel Rosales); his daughter Elizabeth Sotomayor (Daniel Sotomayor); and his daughter Carolyn Garcia (Elias Garcia); grandchildren Anna, Margaret, Bobby, Andy, Christina, Joseph, Elias, Monica; great grandchildren Arika, Mikey, Marcus, Jarvis, Christopher, Charlotte, Macy; great-great grandchildren Danielle, Olivia and Tatiana.

Roberto was preceded in death by his spouse Rose Moreno; his mother Maria Tomasa Cruz Moreno, his father Guadalupe Moreno and his granddaughter Lorraine Moya.

Visitation for Roberto will be held Monday, March 7, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Vigil service at 6:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79903. Funeral mass for Roberto will be on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 12:30 PM at St Raphael Catholic Church, 2301 Zanzibar Rd. El Paso, TX. 79925. Committal service to follow at 2:00 PM at Ft Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. El Paso, TX. 79906.
