He was born on Feb 11, 1948 in El Paso to Candelario and Maria Lydia Calderon. He served in the U.S Army and served 2 tours in Vietnam.
Robert had many friendships created over the years, always the life of the party. He enjoyed golfing with his buddies, singing with friends and family and grilling on Sundays. He will truly be missed.
He is survived by his wife Blanca Calderon, his 3 children Melissa Denzer(Shawn), Robert Calderon Jr(Cindy) and Michael Calderon(Crystal). His 5 grandchildren Christian, Emma, Ryenne, Robert III and Theodore.
He is also survived by his siblings Candelario Calderon Jr, Anne Moncibaiz and Joe Calderon. His stepsons Juan Pablo, Julio Cesar and Jose Hernandez.
Robert is preceded in death by his loving parents Candelario and Maria Lydia Calderon.
Services will be held on Thursday Sept 12, 2019 with a viewing from 10 to 11:30am at Hillcrest Funeral Home @ 5054 Doniphan.
Mass will be held at St Jude Catholic Church located at 4006 Hidden Way at 12:15pm. , followed by his interment with Honors at Ft Bliss National Cemetery.
