Robert James Hutchinson Sr.

Robert James Hutchinson Sr. passed away on Friday, March 25, 2011 at the age of 85. He was born May 19, 1925 in Tacoma, Washington to Joseph and Aileen Hutchinson. He was a graduate of UTEP with a Masters in History and a Bachelor in Education. He worked for the El Paso Independent School District as a math teacher and assistant principal. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, of 63 years, Carolyn Nichols Hutchinson. He is survived by his daughter, Yvonne Hutchinson Saldin and husband Richard of Capitan, NM, son Jim Hutchinson and wife Nanci of Ft. Worth, TX. He is also survived by his grandchildren Heather Burt, Brandon Burt, Gina Windham, Jason Pangle, Gloria Donald, Matthew Hutchinson, and great-grandchildren, Blake and Kayla Windham and Emi and Cameron Donald. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 12:30 PM at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 5005 Love Rd.

Pallbearers will be Richard Saldin, Matthew Hutchinson, Nathan Donald, Jason Pangle, Gregory Corvelli, and Leo Artalejo. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Betts and Phil Henderson.
