Robert Stanley Bonner

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather,

Robert Stanley Bonner passed away peacefully on August 27, 2015, at age 82.

Bob retired as a physicist from White Sands Missile Range in 1994.

His favorite pastime was actively employing his talents as a woodworker

in Woodworkers Club of El Paso, as well as fashioning items of beauty in Borderline Turners.

President of the woodworkers three years in a row, he won the Price’s Dairy “Give ‘Em Five” award.

He also created and stocked many Little Free Libraries for local schools.

Bob is survived by his wife, Sulta Bonner, son, Randy Bonner, and daughters,

Shelley Box and Jennifer Deatherage. He is also survived by step- daughters,

Patrice Yates, Toni Farley and Tammy Henson. Surviving grandchildren include:

April Kammerzell, Ryan Bonner, Shanna Hayes, Brittney Wilkes, Austin Box,

Jordan Box, Rheanon Short, Andrea Wilbur, Michael Grinie, Isaiah Yates, Michelle Farley,

Brandi Farley, Nicholas Farley, Jennifer Manning, and Zachary Henson, and eleven great- grandchildren.

Celebration of Life Services will be held for Bob at the Westside Church of Christ,

100 Crestmont Drive, El Paso, TX. At 3:00 P.M., Thursday, September 3, 2015.
