Robert “Bobby” Contreras, 78, passed away on March 16, 2014, in El Paso, Texas. He was a graduate of Fabens High School and the University of Iowa. He served in the United States Navy and was a lifelong Chicago Bears fan. He was personnel manager for Levi Strauss and for Kessler Industries, and was a long time realtor. He is survived by his wife, Yolanda, sons, Jaime, Carlos, and Alex, daughter, Anna, grandchildren, Sarah, Gabriel, Erik, Andrew, Courtney, and Isaac, and great grandchild, Zoey. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, Martha, Billie, Rosemary, Sandy, Judy, Michael, Tommy, and Terry, and many nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 and Rosary will be on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, 7 PM, at Funeraria Del Angel Martin Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79903. Funeral mass will be on Thursday, March 20, 2014, 9:30 AM, at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, 3729 Hueco Ave, El Paso, TX 79903. Burial will be on Thursday, March 20, 2014, 10:30 AM, at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
