Rita P. Sarinana, 79, passed away on December 5, 2014 in El Paso, Texas. She was born on October 13, 1935 to Jesus Domitilo Perez-Martinez and Juana Pina. Rita was preceded in death by her parents and husband: Ignacio Sarinana. She is survivied by her daughter: Ayle Sarinana; brothers: Jose Perez, Dr. Carlos Mario Perez & Beto Perez Pina; and sisters: Rosalia Arambula & Guadalupe P. Saucedo. Rita was part of the Mujer Hispana in 2000 and Tejano Democrates Hall of Fame in 2003. She was a great roll model for many hispanics and woman in El Paso. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 9:00 am on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
