Ricardo Rodriguez, born July 21, 1953 joined hands peacefully with God on Monday, December 30, 2019. Ricardo was born and raised in Smeltertown, Tx. He attended E. B. Jones and was a graduate of EPHS c/o 1971. He was employed at ASARCO for 27 years and later Dillard's for 10 years. He has been reunited in Heaven with his beloved sweetheart and wife of 40 years, Guadalupe. He also joins his parents, Ramona and Silverio, as well as his siblings Rosalia and Jesus. Left to mourn are his children Sylvia, Ricardo Jr., Alfredo, and Oscar. The center of his heart, his grandchildren Ethan, Andrew, Emily, Elijah, Adan, Eva. He is survived by his siblings, Ramona, Teresa, Catalina, Silverio Jr., Martin and Arturo. As well as numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 5pm until 9pm at FDA Martin Central, 3839 Montana, with Rosary beginning at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, January 8 at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama. Pallbearers will be Alfredo, Oscar and Ethan Rodriguez, Pedro Castillo, Luis Rodriguez, David Vasquez, Aldo Monterrey and Miguel Antonio Marquez. Honorary pallbearer Ricardo Rodriguez Jr. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
We love you Dad and will forever miss you.
