Ricardo Tomas Carlos passed away peacefully the evening of November 28th in El Paso, Texas surrounded by his loved ones. He was 64.

Rick "Cheto" Carlos was born in 1960 to Rogelio and Esperanza in El Paso. He was a police officer in El Paso, and after leaving the El Paso Police Department worked in telecommunications for many years until retiring in 2021. Rick loved golfing, photography, the Dallas Cowboys, and spending time with his four children.

Rick is preceded in death by his father Rogelio. He is survived by his mother Esperanza; six siblings Lupe, Bob, Christina, Gracie, Ruben, Roger, and their partners; his four children Diego, Nicole, Camille and Levi; his two grandchildren Noah and Eliana; his ex-wife Myrna; and many cousins, loved ones, and friends.

A public memorial service will be held in El Paso on December 20th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a rosary starting at 3:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home, 128 N. Resler Dr., El Paso, TX 79912.
