Ray Reich passed away on April 9th at his home in Santa Teresa, NM. He is survived by his wife, Margie; his brother, Danny; two sons, Tristan and Justin; and, his step-daughter, Cricket. He was a prominent entrepreneur in the scrap-metal industry and made business relationships worldwide. Beyond his professional career, he achieved a BS in Psychiatric Social Work with which he dedicated himself to mentoring, consulting and counseling individuals and families in matters from employment to recovery from the disease of alcohol and drug addictions. In retirement, he devoted his expertise and passions as one of the founders of the Raices del Saber Xinachtli Community School in Las Cruces, NM of which donations in his memory would be greatly appreciated by his family and friends.
