Ramon P. Torres

Our beloved father passed to be with our Lord on May 14, 2014. Ramon was born in El Paso, Texas on September 28, 1928. His family will receive relatives and friends for Visitation at Hillcrest Funeral Home (1060 Carolina) on Sunday, May 18, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary starting at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, followed by an interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Ramon Torres retired from the City of El Paso, Street Department in 1991. He was a founding member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and served in numerous ministries. In addition to his loving wife Rosa, he was preceded by his sons, Ramon Torres Jr. and John Torres. Mr. Torres is also survived by his brother Rito Torres. Mr. Torres is also survived by his children, Rodolfo Torres, Jose Luis Torres, Roman Torres, Francisco Javier Torres, Esteban Torres, Marcelino Torres, Gloria Torres Capasso, 14 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
