Ramon Meraz, 84, beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015. Mr. Meraz was of service to his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He had a fascination for working on cars and enjoyed going to the barber shop. His playful nature came to light especially during visits he made to his grandchildren. Mr. Meraz was preceded in death by his father, mother, and sister, Beatrice. He is survived by his sons Ramon Meraz, Jr., Joel Meraz, Sr., and Jacob Meraz; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; brother, Manuel; sisters, Alicia, Helen, and Enriqueta. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel Martin Central. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 11:45 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
