Rafael is survived by his wife, Isabel Ortiz; his son Samuel Gonzales; his father Reymundo Martinez; his sister Carol Ruvalcaba, his sister Olga Gonzales, his sister Anita Arellano, his sister Rosemary Martinez, his brother Henry Martinez and his brother Andy Reymundo Martinez.
Rafael was preceded in death by his mother Maria Martinez; his sister Norma Ocampo.
A visitation for Rafael will be held Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915. A rosary will occur Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 7:00 PM, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915. A funeral mass will occur Friday, August 23, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at St Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 7424 Mimosa Ave, El Paso, Texas 79915. A graveside will occur Friday, August 23, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906.
