Pete Baca Jr, born on July 14, 1964, entered into eternal rest on March 12, 2023. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Pete was born to Peter Baca Sr and Norberta Baca. He always spoke about the importance of family and how much he loved his parents.
In the year of 1985, he met the love of his life Rita Baca and together had two beautiful children. In 1995 he lost both of his parents and made it a point that he would be the big brother that he is and take care of all his brothers and sisters. He was the glue to the whole family, always calling to keep in touch with everyone. Pete was known for being very generous and having the biggest and kindest heart. He would offer a helping hand to anyone in need. He truly touched the lives of many.
Every day he would get up for work check on his places and his workers. At the end of his day he would spend time at his small business at Petro. It was there that he talked to his friends and jammed his music. He was always out with his wife going to see live music, going to UTEP football games and was a member of Community Baptist Church. Every day, hot or cold, he always wore a collared shirt with a pocket and shorts. His favorite colors were red and purple. He always talked about having a STEAK!
He will truly be missed as a loving husband, great father, caring brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend.
He is survived by his wife Rita R. Baca, his two children Michelle Baca (Gregory Lonnie Richens) and Peter Baca III (Sami Kreider Baca) and his grandchildren Audrey Lynn Baca and Elias Peter Baca. His brothers Steve Alexander Baca (+), Ronnie Baca, Robert Villasenor Baca (Olga), Salvador Baca (Marta) and Antonio Baca. His sisters Rebecca Baca Love (Oscar), Eva Wale, Raquel Baca Orona (George), Ramona Baca Hernandez (David). Also a multitude of loving nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Peter will be held Monday, March 20, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East Funeral Home & Cemetery, 12400 East Montana, El Paso, Texas 79938. A chapel service will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East Funeral Home & Cemetery.
