Pauline Royer Gaskins

Pauline Royer Gaskins, 93, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away at her home in El Paso, Texas on December 31, 2015. Pauline was born August 18, 1922 in Fulton County, KY to Mary Bradley and Ancil (Skip) Royer. She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Edward P. Gaskins, five children Mary (Norman) Wagner, Paul (Linda) Gaskins, Linda (Jack Cook) Becker, Joe (Raquel) Gaskins and Deborah (Brett) Allen, 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren as well as her brother Tommy Royer and sister Alice Malooly. Pauline loved her family most; she had many friends and extended family as well as the community of friends and caring staff at Royal Estates. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper and her activities included bridge and golf. A memorial service for family and friends was held at University Presbyterian Church on Monday, January 4 at 11:00 am. Graveside service and burial will be held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery on Tuesday January 5 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
