Mom was an amazing, intelligent and progressive woman who worked very hard and always enjoyed learning new things. A graduate of Tech High School, she attended Texas Western College where her studies were accounting. She was the head bookkeeper at DeWitt and Rearick for many years where she retired at the early age of 59. After retirement she kept busy as a member of the Catholic Daughters Organization, Pool Pals water aerobics group, Senior Citizens line dancing groups as well as volunteering with young unwed mothers. She had also been a member of the Kiwanis Club and the Emerald Social Club. Her hobbies included sewing, baking and creating jewelry. She especially loved to dance with her husband Gilberto Ramirez to whom she was married to for 68 years. As a mother she loved, cared and nurtured her family. She was the pillar of strength that kept our family functioning. She instilled many values and always delivered them with a dose of love. Mom is irreplaceable and will be missed immensely. RIP mom you are forever in our hearts.
