Danny as most knew him was born on January 26, 1951, in El Paso, Texas to the late Raymond and Theresa Perez. He graduated from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in El Paso, Texas, then attending The Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, Ohio where he received his Undergraduate Degree in Theology. After countless of years in the food industry (most recently with Ednor Foods Service Co, Inc.) and sharing the word of God through his Pastoral ministries, Danny retired and went on to open a family business, Alpha Teaching Tools in Las Cruces, NM.
A beloved, son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, Pastor and friend, Danny is survived by his beautiful and dedicated wife of 41 years, Peggy; his children, Daniel Perez, Jr. (Jenny), Cynthia Davis (Brad), Mark Perez, Leah Gambrill- Colvin (Josh), Amanda Gambrill-Ward (Robert), 10 Grandchildren and 4 Great- grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Raymond W. Perez (Cynthia), Ruben Perez (Patricia +), Patricia Perez (Greg+), Victor Perez, Sr. Rebecca Perez, Theresa Sotelo, Irene Perez-Saucedo (Paul), Dolores Saucedo (Hector), Cecilia Perez (Sylvia) and a host of several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Visitation will be Friday, June 18, 2021, at Hillcrest Funeral Home- West at 5054 Doniphan from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm. The Perez Family would like to extend their most gracious gratitude for all the prayers and kind words of sympathy. Pastor Danny, at a simple goodbye or at the end of his sermon, shared his most treasured benediction and this we share with you, The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace. – Numbers 6:24-26.
