Pablo Duarte, 85, passed away January 17, 2012. He was born in Clifton, Arizona to Benjamin and Paula Alarcon Duarte. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Benjamin, Magdaleno, Francisco (Kiko) and Refugio. He is survived by his sister Luisa Duarte, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Pablo graduated from Bowie High School, after graduating he served in the U.S. Army 1/19/45 to 11/21/1946 with an Honorable Discharge. He was employed by El Paso Electric Company as a collector and a meter reader; he retired after 41 years of service. Visitation will be held 9:00 am to 12pm Friday, January 20, 2012 at Martin Funeral Home Central with an 11:00 a.m. Vigil. Funeral Mass will be held 12:15 pm Friday, January 20, 2012 at Guardian Angel Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
