Olivia C. Rodriguez

Olivia C. Rodriguez, 80, resident of El Paso, Texas born June 3, 1933 passed away peacefully Thursday January 9, 2014 in Fort Worth, Texas. Olivia was a loving wife, wonderful mother and homemaker. Throughout her life, she was a very giving and loving person, always providing a helping hand to whoever needed it. She touched countless hearts, cherished her many friendships and showed amazing strength, character and integrity. She is now joined with her loving husband, Francisco (Kiko), who preceded her in death. Continuing to honor her memory and carry forth her legacies are her devoted children David, Frank Jr., Mary (Lola), Irma and son-in-law Tony. She cared for and loved her children unconditionally. They are eternally grateful for the morals, values and importance of giving to others as taught thru their mother's examples. Sharing her memory are grandchildren David, Diana, Joshua, Joseph, Daniel, Leslie and great grandchildren Jordan and Brandon. She will be missed by brothers and sisters in law and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by brothers Juan and Luis, sisters Inez and Rosa and survived by her sister Ruth. A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, January 15th, with visitation from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, vigil at 7:00pm, at Martin Funeral Home located on 3839 Montana Avenue. Funeral mass will be held Thursday January 16th, 10:00am at Blessed Sacrament Church located at 9025 Diana. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
