Nell Gorman Kelly went to be with the Lord May 1, 2014. Born June 26, 1923 in Dooley County Georgia to Thomas and Emily Holland, her youth was spent on her family farm where she and her brothers and sister picked cotton to help make ends meet. She graduated Pinehurst High School at 17 and moved to Jacksonville Florida where for 6 years, she was employed as a legal secretary. She then moved to El Paso and while working at Standard Oil Company she met and married Lee Roy Gorman. They had two children, Gary and Donna. Nell and Lee Roy enjoyed traveling, square dancing and getting together with friends for cards. They were faithful members of Trinity First United Methodist Church. After Lee Roy's death in 1992 she continued to travel extensively, and in 1999 she met and married Robert Edward Kelly. They enjoyed five wonderful years together until Bob's death in 2004. Nell was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, son Gary Lee Gorman and both husbands. She is survived by her daughter Donna and son in law Bill Carrick, two grandsons Will and Wes Carrick, Bill's sisters and husbands, Nancy and Jack Keller and Colleen and Steve Bell. Also surviving are her sister in law Patricia Gorman and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Martin Funeral Home Central on Monday May 5, 2014 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Memorial Service will be at 9:00 am on Tuesday May 6, 2014 at Trinity First Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Robert Kelly Food Pantry at Trinity First United Methodist Church, 801 N. The family extends their thanks to these special ladies for their exceptional friendship, love and care of Nell during the last few years of her life: Pat Miller, Helen Jury, Stacy Barnett, Olga Briseno, Mari Vargas and Gabby Sanchez.
