I’ve missed you everyday for the last 5 years man, life will never feel the same. I still carry  the lessons that I’ve learned from you and our memories together  fills my heart with joy. I love you.

I don't know where to begin.... I remember first meeting you and although at the time there was a language barrier you still made time to try and communicate with me. The weirdest conversation we had I still remember. I had seen you not long before you left this earth and we talked about our future, you told me to keep going at it. I'm still going at it, Nate.  Almost done with school now, engaged, and planning the wedding. The only thing on my mind is looking at the crowd and not seeing you there as we had planned.

V- but your not one of those people because those people make me sad and you don’t make me sad actually the opposite 
N- I know I sometimes make you mad but I’m glad I make you happy you need both so its not so boring

I knew Nate since elementary. He was always a good vibe to be around. I played football with him for a few years as kids and then in middle school. Over the years I would run into him at a party or hanging out with mutual friends. I'll always remember him happy, smiling, and always had something interesting to say. Rest easy Nate, praying for your family and friends. 


I remember when we both worked nights at Starbucks and Nate would show me his sketch book and talk about how he wanted to open up a tattoo place, among other things. Later on it was always nice to hear what he was up to and the life plans he had, plus he was just a fun guy to be around and a good friend.

It’s heartbreaking to know that you are no longer here. You were a such a bright, sweet, and thoughtful presence. I’m happy we crossed paths in life and got a chance to work together. Thank you for bringing me laughter, believing in me while I was in school chasing my dream, sharing your deepest thoughts with me, and  being a great friend. I will miss your visits (how excited you would be to share what new book you were reading), long talks about life, how special your family was to you, inside jokes, and the hopes and dreams you used to talk about. I wish I could say goodbye and hug you. I will miss you, Nate.

So many things I can remember. You were such a wonderful friend, never made me feel like I was alone. My fav part of every day was hearing you say “hey Amy”.  So I started calling you Pete. One of my fav memories is how you were the only person who talked to me after I graduated boot camp. You made it seem like I had a little bit of home with me, when I was far from it. And we’d Skype every night and just talk about life.

It was an honor to have you in my life. I’m gonna miss you, I know you are now at peace.

It breaks my heart to know you are no longer sharing your beautiful smile with the world.  It was such a pleaure to have you in my English class.  You were so wise beyond your years.  The last time we talked you had taken my order at Starbucks and we talked as if there weren't a herd of cars behind me.  When we realized we quickly said our goodbyes.   I could never have imagined that would be the last time.  My prayers go out to your family during this hard time.   Till we meet again mijo.

Nate, I had the great opportunity to had meet you even if it was a short 6 month. All our talks about life and family and how you were working so hard in building a wonderful life for your baby. I felt so proud to see such young man that would work so hard for what he wants. You would tell me stories about your wife and how excited you where to meet your baby and how Victoria was your ultimate peace. You were so easy to talk to and always a pleasure to be around. I will miss you Nate you were a very special guy. My heart goes to your wife and all the family. 

There’s so many things to say, Nate you will be missed.  We shared lots of laughs from high school to college.  These past few months the love of my life met him and we talked and wanted to get together and double date.  You were all the same every time we hung out, talked, or bumped into each other, nice funny and down to earth. We will miss you Nate.

Nate, where do I start?
Walking into a whole new school district in middle school got me scared. But somehow I was fortunate enough to meet you. We both just clicked right off the bat. Its crazy. Within that 1st year, I already knew we would be the closest of friends. You showed me a world of things I never thought I would be into. Such as different music, showing me how to play guitar with your yamaha, skating together, learning life together through our years. I remember you used to come over to my house and if you didnt, we would call eachothers house phone every day. I still remember your old phone number. Haha. We were inseparable You gave me some of the best years of my life. Even if we grew apart a bit as life got in our way, I still thought nothing less of you being my best friend. Theres only 5 people that changed my life. And it hurts to know one is gone. You will be missed dearly. I hope you and your family find the peace you are looking for. My deepest condolences to your family.

Nate, ohh Nate.  How gentle you are, how talented you are, how generous you are, sweet, kind, and loving you are. 
  Open minded, and courageous.  A amazing friend.
 I appreciate you, and sharing life with you. 
    You will always have a piece of me, and I with you. Words cannot express how badly my heart mourns for your beautiful family, whom took me into their home as If I never left it my own. 
  You showed me another world, something that is rare to find in this life. Something real. We grew up together.

Such sad news...Nate, my heart breaks to know of your passin at such a young age.. You were such a smart young man with so much potential. So bright and funny. I enjoyed your conversations and thoughts you shared in my classes. May you Rest In Peace.  My deepest condolences to the family.  

The last conversation I had with Nate was last summer. He reminded me that I can do this. Whatever my “this” was. 
He always managed to shed light into my darknesss.
It breaks my heart so so much to know that people who are so kind, and so funny, and so able to listen are taken from us so soon.
I hope his soul and his family find rest. I can’t even imagine.

I am happy that I met Nate he was very easy to talk to we would talk about everything and we bacame good friends. He would be missed by many, he left great memories and friendships thats will keep his memory alive it was great to know you and have you in my life as a really great friend. R.I.P
