Monico Fabela, 87, passed away on November 7, 2016. He was born in Austin, Texas on May 4, 1929 a longtime resident of El Paso, Texas, retired from Levi Strauss as a Sr. Sewing Machine Mechanic; and a baseball player for many years in various teams including Indios de Juarez, and El Paso 40-60. Survived by his Wife: Beatriz, 2 Sons: Carlos Fabela (Margie), Fernando Fabela (Elva), 6 Daughters: Beatriz Chacon (Frank), Mary Lou Cebollero (Joe), Magdalena Chacon (Wenses), Letty Bautista (David), Graciela Fabela+, Cecy Holcomb (Travis), and Gloria Carbajal (David), 1 Brother: Alfonso Fabela, 18 Grandchildren, and 26 Great-Grandchildren. Visitation: November 11, 2016 from 5-9pm at Hillcrest-Carolina with Eulogy at 7pm. Service: November 12, 2016 at 11am at Hillcrest with Interment at Restlawn Memorial Park.
