Michael was preceded in death by his spouse Barbara Ann Melson.
He is survived by his son Patrick Melson (Cassandra); his granddaughter Amanda Hoshor and his granddaughter Alyssa Hoshor.
Michael also leaves behind 3 great grandchildren; Lilly, Luka, and Loralai, and brother in law Gary Brown (Josie) to cherish his memory.
A gathering for Michael will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM with a Memorial Service to follow at 12:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home West, 128 N Resler Dr, El Paso, Texas 79912. Graveside Service will take place at 1:30 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, Fort Bliss, Texas 79906.
