Mercedes is predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years Jose C. Padilla, parents Ramón Reveles and Maria Maynes, brothers Pedro Reveles and Jesus Reveles.
She is survived by sisters Socorro Reveles, Antonieta Reveles and Teresa Reveles.
Mercedes is lovingly remembered by her son Jose Padilla Jr. and wife Maria E. Padilla (predeceased). Granddaughter Monica Padilla-Aguirre, husband Luis Aguirre, great-grandchildren Victoria Basquez and Luis Aguirre Jr. Granddaughter Maria Linda Padilla, husband Denis Witanra, great grandchildren Madeline “Gracie” Witanra and Melanie Anne Witanra.
She is also lovingly remembered by her daughter Maria Aide Peña and husband Mario A. Peña. Grandchildren Nicholas Jayden Peña, Alyssa Janae Peña and Matthew Joel Peña.
Mercedes will be remembered for her passion of singing mariachi music, dancing and her cooking (especially mole and enchiladas).
She always showed love and affection to all of her friends and family to include all of her Godchildren, nieces and nephews.
