Mary Lou Torres

Maria Luisa, “Mary Lou” Torres, 78. Passed away peacefully at home on March 31, 2017 surrounded by her adoring family. A lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas. She was a lovingly devoted wife and mother. An eternal kind and gentle spirit. Our beloved mother has completed her earthly journey and we are comforted to know she is now with our Lord, Jesus Christ. We joyfully celebrate her love and life. Our beautiful guardian angel, mother, watch over us until we meet again. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her mother Mary R. Chitwood. Survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Antonio Torres, son Anthony Torres (Olga), daughters; Gloria Offutt (Shane), Alice Gonzalez (Jesus), and Marie Smolsey (Christopher), 10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren amongst many other family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, April 3, 2017 from 5-9pm at Martin Funeral Home 3839 Montana Ave. Rosary at 7pm. Mass on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 2709 Alabama Street, El Paso, Texas.
