Mary T. Gamez

Mary T. Gamez, 89 years old was a resident of Santa Teresa, New Mexico, passed away on September 2, 2022. Mary will now be reunited with her dearly loved husband Luis Gamez, Jr. Mary was born in El Paso, Texas on July 4, 1933 and worked at WBAMC for many years. She is survived by her daughter; Rebecca G. Medina of Santa Teresa, New Mexico, granddaughter; Crystal Minjarez-Funk and husband Gregg Funk, great grandchildren; Nathan Minjarez and wife Delilah, and Nykolas Minjarez all of Santa Teresa, New Mexico. Granddaughter, goddaughter; Rosie Colburn and husband Jeff Colburn, great granddaughter; Zoey Colburn who resides in Laverne, California. Also survived by nieces and nephews (Aunt Josie, Aunt Estella) of Whittier, California.

Preceded in death by her husband; Luis Gamez Jr., son; David Gamez, daughter; Rosemary Torres, son-in-law; David Torres.

Visitation will be Friday, October 7, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. with a Liturgical Service at 11:00 a.m. and Eulogies at 11:30 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home West. Interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Minjarez, Jamie (Jimmy) Mora, Luis Rosales, Kenneth Amburn, Ceaser Flores, Guillermo Maldonado, and Angel Amabisko.
