Martha A. Barraza passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on May 26, 2017, at the age of 86. She was born in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua to Bernardino Adame and Maria del Refugio Sandoval on November 12, 1930. She is preceded in death by husbands, Victor Alfredo Diaz and Francisco Barraza. She is survived by her children, Dr. Victor A. Diaz, Jr. (Susan), Patricia Dávila (Jesse), Jesus Diaz and Martha Elena Baker (Steve). She also leaves 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
She was a beloved mother and grandmother who devoted her life to family, church and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 1 from 5:00 to 9:00p.m. with a rosary at 7:00p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, June 2, at 9:15a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 3729 Hueco, with internment immediately following at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
