Marilyn Susan Pierson

Marilyn Susan Pierson (Bailey) was born at Beaumont Army Hospital on Sept 7, 1956 to Veta and Joe Bailey. She attended Burnet Elementary School, Basset Middle and Graduated from Austin High School in 1974. She was employed by The Federal Reserve Bank of El Paso and later for 10 years at Government Employee's Credit Union of El Paso. When she married Allen, she moved to New York City where she was employed by Barnes and Nobles College Book Stores in the payroll dept. Since their retirement in 2014, Sue and Allen have made their home in El Paso. She is survived by her husband Allen Pierson of El Paso, her children Amanda Cortez of Olympia WA., Nicole Decker of Leesville LA., Sylvia Pitts of Dogue VA, stepdaughters, Michelle and Jessica of New York City, sister Sherry Pierson of El Paso, twelve grandchildren and her father Joe Bailey of El Paso. She passed away at home on Dec. 18, 2020.
