Eloise was born in Chihuahua, Mexico. As a young girl she attended private boarding schools and spent her summers with her siblings on her parents’ cattle ranch. Her father, whom she adored, would often find her nursing small animals back to health. This would be the catalyst and foundation for a lifelong vocation and career in medicine.
Eventually, her father sent her to the U.S. to study, and she began her career working in a surgical unit in Ohio before moving with her young family to El Paso. Along with devoting her time to her patients, she was instrumental in the development of annual Christmas events for children affected with cancer in El Paso.
When not found caring for her patients, Eloise lived life to the fullest, and loved taking long road trips with her husband and traveling the world with her children. After retiring, her family time was precious to her, and she loved decorating her home and hosting large holiday gatherings for her family and blended extended family.
Eloise had a strong faith, was a faithful member of the Catholic Church, and carried an unyielding devotion to St. Jude Thaddeus throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Indar Singh, son, Richard T. Headley, and step-son, Indar Singh, Jr. Survived by her daughters, Patricia A. Razo (Roger), Liza H. Whitten, her beloved granddaughters, Michelle K. Razo, and Mary E. Whitten.
Through her second marriage to Indar, she is survived by her step-daughter, Grace Guajardo (John), her step-granddaughters, Lauren Guajardo, Jessica Guajardo, and step-great-grandson, Patrick Guajardo--- all of whom she loved dearly.
