Maria "Chita" Isabel Vasquez, 61, of El Paso Texas, passed away on November 15, 2020. Chita was known by those closest to her as someone who was always willing to help and offer guidance. She dedicated herself to her children and grandchildren.
Chita was born to Felipe Lugo and Bertha Lugo, on March 10, 1959 in Juarez, Mexico. She graduated from Austin High School in 1979.
Chita was preceded in death by Bertha Lugo-Mother, Felipe Lugo-Father, Armida Lugo-Sister, Javier Lugo-Brother, Felipe Lugo Jr.-Brother, Maria O. Lugo-Sister and Carlos Lugo-Brother.
Chita is survived by her sons: Jesus Vasquez, Hector Torres, and Adrian Torres; her siblings Hector Lugo and Susana Lugo, as well as her grandchildren: Avery Vasquez, Nevan Torres, Bucky Torres, and Zayla Isabel Vasquez.
Chita leaves behind a legacy of helping to those in need and this legacy will be carried by her sons and passed down to her grandchildren including the many other children who came to know her as "Grandma Chita
